In order to comply with New York State’s regional phased reopening plan the following changes will be implemented on a temporary basis starting with the Dalton event. These changes address social distancing and eliminate personal contact. We will adjust our operations accordingly as the State’s guidelines change.
1. There will be no riders meeting. Written rider information will be provided to competitors as they enter the site. All riders will need to be current AMA members. Go to https://americanmotorcyclist.com/join-the-ama/ to sign up or renew your AMA membership. Riders are to observe social distancing while signing up and at the sections at all times. Have the exact rider fee ready and place in the designated box as follows.
a) D-4 Trials Committee $10 + Entry Fee $20 = $30 Total
b) Non Committee Waiver $5 + Entry Fee $20 = $25 Total
Sign up will end at 11:30.
2. We will temporarily return to checkers keeping score on clip boards as was done in the past. Make sure your number plate clearly shows your number.
3. No spectators until further notice.
4. There will be no awards ceremony following the event. Riders are to leave the event when finished. The scores will be tabulated and posted on our facebook page and website.
Be aware that the State of New York has posted a phone number for anyone to report violations of social distancing subject to a $1000.00 fine. Practice social distancing at all times.
(Our first event has been postponed to a later date)
